Have a nice relaxing weekend...

TGIF! It has been a long busy week for me, and I am very happy to see Friday afternoon finally here! I actually get to go to a small bowling event this afternoon for work, which is a nice way to get out of the office a little sooner.

Whether you go Apple Picking ...

Have an Autumn Wedding to attend ...

Or will just be Napping all weekend...I hope you enjoy it!

If you have time, you should make these delicious Oatmeal Pancakes. They are a recipe from "The Biggest Loser" so also a healthier way to enjoy a sweet breakfast!

Ingredients:6 egg whites
1 cup rolled oats, dry
1 cup cottage cheese
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. For each pancake pour 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle. Flip when they start to bubble. Cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batches, spraying the griddle as needed. Makes about 10 pancakes.

Foodie Diagnosis

So the term "Foodie" technically means people obsessed with all things epicurean. Ya know, those who like fine dining and some good wine. I do believe this is true, but I think a foodie could also mean someone who simply loves food, enjoys their meals, and takes the time to buy just the right ingredients. I would consider myself a foodie because I always finish a meal by thinking about what I will be eating for my next meal, or next few meals. You would think all foodies are overweight, or they eat too much, but really in my opinion it is appreciating your food no matter how much it is that you actually eat. Yea of course I have my moments where I finish a whole bowl of pasta, when it was far to big of a serving, but usually I try to savor my food and like to save half for later so I can savor it all over again. Pathetic? Yea some might consider it so, but us foodies can't help it.

Are you a foodie? Here are 15 ways to determine if you are:

1. It takes more time to decide where to dine than to have dinner.
2. You know the names of meat distributors other than Pat LaFrieda.
3. You ask the waitress to be specific about the kind of kale in the salad.
4. You've paid to eat dinner at a stranger's apartment.
5. You've joined a line with more than five people in it, for a sandwich, from a truck.
6. Your entrée choice hinges more on where it was raised than on what it is.
7. You tweet your meals before dessert.
8. Your coffee has a proper name.
9. You've tasted single udder butter.
10. You've made your own sausage. After meeting the pig.
11. Your closets are being used as cheese caves or beer cellars.
12. Queens is a culinary destination.
13. Your pick-up line asks "What's your favorite restaurant."
14. You've spent more than $10 on a cocktail outside of a club.
15. You roll your eyes  at molten chocolate cake.

My favorite (or do I mean least favorite) thing I do which helps me determine that I am a foodie? I look up what I want to eat online before I go to the restaurant, then when I get there I look at the menu some more, then I finally order and once the server leaves I regret what I ordered.

So seeing as its after dinner, I have already been thinking ab0ut what's for breakfast...these pumpkin pancakes look good!

So who is a foodie like me?
